Ethiopian Evangelical
Church Bonn

The mission of the Ethiopian Evangelical Church Bonn
is based on the Great Commission - given by our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19-20 and Mark 16:15 to preach the Gospel, win souls for God's Kingdom, teach God's Word and make disciples.

The Church believes:
1. God is eternal, omnipotent, and above all, incomparable in any way. (Isaiah 40:28)

2. God is the Creator and supreme ruler of all visible and invisible creation. (Genesis 1:1-31, Colossians 1:15-16)

3. The triune GOD eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (John 14:26; 2 Corinthians 13: 13-14; 1 Corinthians 12: 4-6; Revelation 1:8.

4. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, fully God and fully man, suffered and died on the cross for our sins, was buried, rose bodily from the dead, appeared to men, ascended into heaven, and now sits on the right hand of the Father and intercedes for us, and is coming again with great power and glory.

ጌታችን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ በማቴዎስ ወንጌል 28:19-20 እና በማርቆስ ወንጌል 16:15 በሰጠው ትዕዛዝ መሠረት በወንጌል ስብከት ነፍሳትን በመውረስ ወደ እግዚአብሔር መንግሥት በማፍለስ የእግዚአብሔርን ቃል እያስተማረች በማሳደግ ደቀ መዛሙርትን የማፍራት ተልዕኮዋን መወጣት ነው::

ቤተ ክርስቲያኗ:
1. እግዚአብሄር ዘላለማዊ፣ ሁሉን ቻይና ከሁሉም በላይ የሆነበምንም የማይመሰል አምላክ እነደሆነ ታምናለች፡፡ ኢሳ. 40:28::

2. የሚታዩና የማይታዩ ፍጥረታት ሁሉ ፈጣሪና የበላይአስተዳዳሪ እንደሆነ ታምናለች፡፡ ዘፍ. 1:1‐31፣ ቆላ. 1:15‐16::

3. እግዚአብሔር በአብ በወልድና በመንፈስ ቅዱስ ሦስትመለኮታዊ አካላት (ሥላሴ) የተገለጠ፣ የነበረ ያለና የሚኖርእና የሚሰራ አንድ አምላክ እነደሆነ ታምናለች፡፡ ዮሐ. 14: 26፣ 2ቆሮ. 13:13‐14፣ 1ቆሮ. 12:4‐6፣ ራዕ. 1:8:፡

4. ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ የእግዚአብሔር አብ ልጅመሆኑን፣በመንፈስ ቅዱስ ከድንግል ማርያም መወለዱን፣ፍጹም አምላክ ፍጹም ሰው መሆኑን፣ስለ ኃጢአታችንበመስቀል ላይ የተሰቃየና የሞተ፣ የተቀበረ፣ በሶስተኛውቀን ከሞት በአካል ተነስቶ ለሰዎች ተገልጦ በክብር ወደሰማይ ያረገ መሆኑን፣ አሁንም በአባቱ ቀኝ ተቀምጦዘወትር ለእኛ እንደሚማልድልን፣ ዳግመኛም በታላቅክብርና ሥልጣን እንደሚመለስ ታምናለች፡፡ ማቴዎስ16፥16፣ የሐዋሪያት ሥራ 5፥30-31፣ ማቴዎስ 1፥23፣ 1ኛቆሮንቶስ 15፥3-8፣የሐዋሪያት ሥራ 1፥ 9-11፡፡
